Although there is no official male stripper academy at Mango’s Male Strip Club, we do provide training for all of the new guys. Typically, when a new male stripper is hired, he is paired with a dancer who has had experience. The dancer will take the rookie through the ropes and teach him the choreography and the dance moves. In addition, he will train him on how to entertain at private parties and events. After a few weeks of training, usually the rookie is able to go off on his own.
It can be a pretty daunting task as a new male stripper. Therefore, it is always important to have the proper training. Working as a male stripper is more than just taking your clothes off. There is a ton of nutrition, training, sleep and practice that goes in before every performance. A male stripper with experience will know how to diet and stay lean all year round. Dieting is probably one of the hardest things about being a male stripper. Who wouldn’t want to eat ice cream and pizza all year long?
Training is also a very important step in every male stripper’s life. Although some dancers love the gym and spend most of their time working out, it is not necessary. Just heavy weight training a few times a week with a proper diet will make heads turn. Seasoned male strippers know that it is a journey, not a race. Crash diets do not work in the long term and it is important to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
In addition, performing at private parties can be quite intimidating for new male strippers. Although there is no male stripper academy at Mango’s, there is training to allow new male strippers to become comfortable. There is nothing worse than have a nervous male stripper perform at a bachelorette party with a bunch of wild screaming girls.
